Okay, so here’s the story. Back in the late 2000s, Virginia needed a plan. Sea levels were rising, and the climate was changing. Badly.
That’s where we came in. We were the Virginia Commission on Climate Change. A mix of scientists, policymakers, and just regular folks who cared. Our mission? To tackle this problem head-on.
The result? A big report in 2008. A blueprint. But we knew it couldn’t just sit on a shelf gathering dust.
That’s why we’re still here.
We want to make sure that research stays alive. Easy to find. Useful.
Think of us as guardians of the original commission’s work. We want to pass it on to the next generation of Virginians.
